NOTE: Due to the pandemic the Chapter Executive is working hard to provide alternative formats for us to cook together virtually while maintaining the ethos and camaraderie of Les Marmitons.

Monday April 12th 5:30pm – Chef Denis Hernandez – Zoom – MEMBERS AND GUESTS OF MEMBERS. Chef Denis Hernandez of Swine and Vine has cooked at some of the best local kitchens in KW and he brings his vast experience and rave reviews to us as a first time chef with Les Marmitons.

Monday May 10th 5:30pm – Chef Eric Eisenbud – Zoom – MEMBERS AND GUESTS OF MEMBERS. The Grateful Chef, Eric Eisenbud, will lead us in a virtual cook all the way from New Jersey. A long time friend of the New Jersey chapter, Eric’s youtube videos are an inspiration to many aspiring home cooks.

Monday June 14th 5:30pm – Chef Karl Lekavy – Zoom – MEMBERS AND GUESTS OF MEMBERS. Chef Karl Lekavy, Chef de Cuisine of Crowsfoot Smokehaus, has been smokin’ up a storm at his new restaurant, and is joining us for a virtual summertime feast.

Monday March 8th 5:30pm – Chef Kyle Rennie – King Street Trio Uptown – Zoom – MEMBERS AND GUESTS OF MEMBERS. Another fantastic returning chef, Kyle is the Executive chef at King Street Trio Uptown.

Sunday, February 14th 3:00pm Valentines Day – Chef Brad Lomanto – Conestoga College – Zoom – MEMBERS ONLY. Brad Lomanto is returning to cook with us again, for a romantic day of food and fun. Brad is the Executive Chef at Conestoga College, and runs the Bloom restaurant.

Saturday January 16th, 2021 – 2021 started off with a bang! We were joined by Darryl Haus, Mixology instructor at Conestoga College and owner of Grand Trunk Saloon and Grand Surf Lounge. We learned bartending techniques for creating simple syrups, shaking, layering, and more. Check out Grand Trunk for their take-home cocktails and southern comfort food.

Monday November 30th, 2020 – Another virtual event with the team at The Culinary Studio. This time around we’ll be cooking a gourmet Holiday Feast in five easy steps! It’s a two-pan turkey dinner for four, and yes there will be brussels sprouts! And pudding too. Learn more skills with The Culinary Studio’s virtual cooking classes.

Monday November 2nd 2020 – Our first virtual event with Chefs Jody and Kirstie: We cooked a Spanish feast including Pan con Tomato, an incredibly vibrant Mojo Verde, tasty Gambas, Chorizo y Piquillo, and the piece de resistance, pictured below, Traditional Paella with Sausage and Chicken.
